METALCON 2019 is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited to attend! METALCON is being held in Pittsburgh, PA this year — that’s right, the largest convention dedicated to metal in design and metal construction in North America will be taking place in the Steel City itself!

Here are some highlights we’re looking forward to at METALCON 2019:

Sports Legends: Rocky Bleier (Former Pittsburgh Steelers Running Back) and Bryan Trottier (Former Pittsburgh Penguins Player) will be keynote speakers — need we say more?

Free Beer: Grab a beer and celebrate Oktoberfest by visiting with sponsoring exhibitors from 1-6pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Networking while drinking free beer — we’re on board with that.

Cash Prizes: Download the METALCON mobile app, scan every Innovation Station that you visit, and then go to The Deck for the cash prize drawings at 2pm and 5pm. You must be present to win, so don’t get too caught up in Oktoberfest and forget to show up for the drawings!

Educational Sessions: Last but not least, there will be tons of educational sessions and insight on the latest trends, technology and innovative products. Let’s face it — the main reason we attend is to expand our knowledge base and to stay up-to-date in the industry; the fun stuff that comes along with it is just a bonus!
